In early November, I called frantic because I was in the VA hospital and had been for almost a month for service connected disabilities. I just needed a third month to pay it all up and be current (which I did the next month) The manager told me that she could see that the caller ID even clearly said where I was calling from, but that if she didn't receive the money by the 5th of the month, then she would auction off all of my stuff and close my account. I found a way, and made it happen. When I moved in early March, I even used Uhaul through Thrifty Storage, but discovered upon arriving to my unit, that I had not paid the month before. I went back to pay, and the manager was gone, and the lady that was there didn't know how to take the payment the way I wanted it to be taken. (I wanted it partial, because I was getting hit with a lot of fees moving, and I didn't want to overspend.) She opened my unit (which had a giant lake in front of it) with the agreement that I would pay it when I brought the truck back that afternoon at 4:30. Around 3:30, I got a call from the manager yelling at me on the phone that she wanted her money. I had a washer and dryer and a couple of recliners in the unit that if auctioned, would cover the cost of the unit for those two months, and I was just tired of dealing with her. Now a month later, she's emailing me and harassing my contacts like a bill collector and asking for $373.00. (The unit is $93.00 a month and it's been a little over 3) I went by your policy and gave you my stuff after two months.
